Terms of Service

Last Updated: 3 March 2025

These Terms of Service govern your use of cs.deals and everything connected to it, including the site, bots, API, and support. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them.

CS DEALS LTD, a company registered in Cyprus under registration number HE489418, with its office address at Voukourestiou, 25 Neptune House, 1st Floor, Flat/Office 11 Zakaki, 3045, Limassol, Cyprus ("we", "us"). Our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, and Fees page form part of these terms. Where one of those policies covers a subject in more detail, that policy applies.

1

What CS.DEALS is

CS.DEALS is a place where users can buy, sell, and trade virtual in-game items ("skins") for games including CS2, Rust, TF2, and Dota 2, and can sell items directly to us via instant sell. We are not affiliated with Valve Corporation. Steam’s terms apply to your Steam account and to every item that passes through it. Valve can ban accounts, place trade holds, or remove items at any time, and none of that is our doing or our responsibility.

Prices, suggested prices, float values, and any other data we show are provided for convenience. We don’t guarantee their accuracy. You’re responsible for your own decisions.

2

Your account

You need a verified email address and a linked Steam account (or another sign-in provider we support). Everything you tell us must be true and kept up to date. If it isn’t, we can suspend your account until it is.

One person, one account. No creating accounts for other people, no sharing, no selling or transferring accounts. You’re responsible for everything that happens on your account, including anything done by someone you gave access to.

We can refuse or close any account.

You’re responsible for the security of your Steam account and any other linked accounts. If someone gets into them and trades or sells your items, that’s between you and them.

3

Verification

We may ask you to verify your identity or the source of your funds at any time. That can be as simple as an ID and proof of address, or more involved checks such as source of wealth, bank statements, or other due diligence. Until you provide what we ask for, your account and any balance stay frozen. What you provide goes to our verification and payment partners. How we run our fraud and compliance checks is not something we disclose.

4

Buying, selling, and trading

Listings. When you list an item, you’re offering to sell it at that price. Once a buyer accepts, you’re committed to the sale.

Instant sell. When you instant-sell, you’re selling to us at the quoted price. The quote is valid for the window shown. Once the sale goes through, it’s final.

Everything is final. Trades, purchases, sales, and instant sells cannot be reversed once they occur. See the Refund Policy for the narrow cases where we make you whole.

Trade reversals. If you reverse, cancel, or dispute a completed trade against us or another user, whether through Steam, your payment provider, or anything else, we can ban your account on the spot and keep whatever balance and items are in it to cover the loss.

5

Balance, deposits, and withdrawals

Your balance is a credit on our platform. It’s not a bank account, it doesn’t earn interest, and it isn’t insured. Deposits and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Withdrawal methods, minimums, and fees are shown at the time of withdrawal and can change. We use licensed third-party payment processors, and which ones we use changes over time. We’re not liable for their delays, declines, or fees, or for exchange-rate movements.

6

Fees

Our fees are listed on the Fees page. We can change them at any time; changes apply to transactions after the change. Fees are non-refundable except where a sale is reversed under the Refund Policy.

7

Inactive accounts

An account is inactive when it has had no login, deposit, withdrawal, trade, sale, purchase, or new listing for 365 days. Because items in inactive accounts still have to be held and managed by us, once an account has been inactive for 365 days we can do any or all of the following:

Delist any active listings and move the items to your on-site inventory.

Sell any items in your on-site inventory at fair market value and credit the proceeds to your balance. Fair market value means the price we determine, acting reasonably, the item could be sold for at that time, by reference to recent sales on CS.DEALS, the Steam Community Market, or other marketplaces we consider relevant. Where no reliable reference exists, it means the best price we can obtain by listing the item on CS.DEALS. Our determination is final. Selling your items isn’t account activity and doesn’t reset the clock.

Charge an inactivity fee of USD 10 per month against your balance. The fee never takes your balance below zero. If we don’t charge it in a given month, we can charge the accumulated amount later in one batch.

Before we sell items or apply the fee, we send one notice to the email on your account. If it bounces or you don’t act, we proceed. Keeping that email current is your responsibility. Logging in resets the clock and stops the fee going forward; it doesn’t refund what’s already been charged.

8

Conduct

Don’t:

Use the site for anything illegal, or to move funds on behalf of anyone else.

Deposit only to withdraw, cycle money between accounts, or use the platform as a payment rail.

Run multiple accounts, or use someone else’s payment method, identity, or documents.

Exploit bugs, pricing errors, or bot behaviour. If you find one, report it under our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.

Scam, manipulate prices, or coordinate with others to do any of that.

Impersonate CS.DEALS, our staff, or another user. Our only official channels are listed on the Verify Representative page; anyone else claiming to be us isn’t.

Interfere with the site, bots, or other users’ accounts, or attempt to bypass security or verification.

Harass staff or other users, or post content that’s illegal, abusive, or misleading.

If you do, we can suspend or close your account, remove listings, and freeze or forfeit balance and items. We do this at our discretion, without notice, and without owing you an explanation.

9

API

We provide a public API. Use it reasonably. We can rate-limit, suspend, or revoke API keys at any time for any reason, including load, abuse, or competitive use. We’re not liable for anything you build on it or for changes to it.

10

Our rights over the platform

We can, at our sole discretion and without notice: change or discontinue any feature; refuse any transaction; remove any listing; place holds on any balance or item for as long as an investigation or dispute is open; and suspend or close any account. We don’t have to give reasons, and our decision on any dispute, hold, or account action is final. We’ll act reasonably, but you accept that we decide what reasonable means here.

11

Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows:

We give no warranty that the site, bots, or API will be available, error-free, or secure.

We’re not liable for anything Valve or Steam does; for the actions of other users; for our payment or verification partners; or for events outside our reasonable control.

We’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost items or balance resulting from your own breach, your account being compromised, or a Steam-side action.

Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim or USD 100, whichever is greater.

Where the law of your country of residence doesn’t allow one of these limits, it applies to the extent permitted.

12

Indemnity

If your actions on the site lead to a claim, fine, or cost against us, including chargebacks you file, content you post, or laws you break, you’re responsible for it and will reimburse us in full.

13

Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting support. We’ll release any eligible balance once verification is complete and holds have cleared; anything else is governed by the Refund Policy. We can close your account at any time. If it’s for breach, fraud, or a chargeback, we can keep balance and items to cover our losses. If it isn’t, we’ll release eligible balance on the same terms as above. Sections 4 (finality and reversals), 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14

Legal

Governing law and jurisdiction. Cyprus law governs these terms, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction.

No class actions. Claims are brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action.

Changes. We can change these terms at any time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Assignment. We can transfer these terms to a successor or buyer of the business. You can’t transfer them.

No waiver. If we don’t enforce something in these terms right away, we can still enforce it later.

Severability. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands.

Entire agreement. This document and the policies it references are the whole agreement between us. Nothing said in support chat, social media, or anywhere else changes it.
